What offline means
The editor is cached. Online services are not simulated.
A local workspace
Normal editing and autosave use storage in the current browser profile. They do not require a round trip to the pasteToPrint server.
Clear network boundaries
AI, Cloud, LIVE collaboration, email and transfers need a server. They become available again when the device reconnects.

Use the same device and the same normal browser profile throughout these steps.

Open the editor while online
Wait until the workspace, toolbar and document preview are visible. This also allows the offline service worker to register.

Reload the editor once
Keep the connection on and refresh the page. The second load lets the active service worker store the main page and the files used by the editor.

Prepare the optional tools you need
If you will download PDF or use another tool that loads on demand, run it once while online. A browser print dialog is usually the most dependable offline output.

Test before relying on it
Disconnect Wi-Fi or enable airplane mode, reopen pasteToPrint from the same address or installed shortcut, and verify the exact workflow you plan to use.
Installation is optional
On supported desktop and Android browsers, use Install app when it is offered. On iPhone or iPad in Safari, use Share → Add to Home Screen. A shortcut makes reopening easier, but it does not replace the online preparation above.

Important:
Direct PDF creation uses local libraries that load on demand. Open the PDF tool once while online before an offline trip, or use Print → Save as PDF if your operating system offers it.
Your local data
The browser is your offline storage.
An offline draft belongs to this browser profile on this device. It is not automatically copied to another browser, phone or computer.
Clearing site data, resetting the browser, removing the profile or using temporary private browsing can remove the cached app and local draft.
Browser storage is not a backup, and pasteToPrint does not add a separate password to local drafts. Export important work to a file you control.

Offline questions
Does pasteToPrint work completely offline?
No. The prepared basic editor can work offline, but server-backed features such as AI, Cloud, LIVE collaboration, email and transfers require a connection.
Is opening the website once enough?
For the most dependable result, open the editor online, wait for it to finish loading, then refresh it once. Also open any optional tool you expect to use offline.
Do I need to install pasteToPrint?
No. Installation is optional. The cached editor can reopen in the same browser, while an installed shortcut makes it easier to find and launch.
Will my offline document synchronize automatically?
No. A normal editor draft remains in the current browser. Cloud synchronization is a separate online feature.
Why did the editor stop opening offline?
The browser may have cleared its cache or site data, the address may be different, or the app may not have completed its online preparation. Reconnect, open the editor, refresh once, and test again.
What should I do after pasteToPrint is updated?
Open and refresh the editor while online, then repeat the offline test. A new release can replace the previous offline cache.
